Job Summary

The Creative Director at an advertising agency leads the creative team in developing innovative and compelling advertising campaigns that resonate with target audiences. This role involves conceptualizing, overseeing, and guiding the creative execution of various projects across multiple media platforms, including social, digital, print, television, and experiential.

The Creative Director collaborates closely with clients, account managers, and other departments to ensure that creative strategies align with the brand’s objectives while maintaining a high standard of creativity and effectiveness.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Creative Teams: Directly oversees associate creative directors, copy heads, art directors, copywriters, graphic designers, video producers, and other creative professionals across verticals, including social. Responsible for managing the workflow, deadlines, and creative output of these teams on par with industry standards.
  • Mentorship and Development: Provides coaching and guidance to junior creatives, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Concept Development: Lead the brainstorming and ideation process to generate original, effective concepts that meet client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Creative Direction: Oversee the execution of creative ideas across different media platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging. Review and provide feedback on all creative work to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Client Presentations: Lead client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating the creative vision and rationale behind the concepts and executions.
  • Project Management: Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Work closely with the production and project management teams to manage timelines and resources effectively.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to inspire fresh, forward-thinking ideas.
  • Brand Stewardship: Act as a guardian of the brand’s creative integrity, ensuring that all communications are on-brand and support the long-term strategy of the client.
  • Nurturing and growing the team by keeping them inspired and thirsty for reaching higher quality with big ambitions and dreams.
  • Supporting and complying with the BOD’s vision.

Required Skills/ Abilities

  • Creative Vision: Strong ability to think conceptually and translate that vision into compelling and strategic campaigns across multiple media.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and encourage creative growth.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly to both internal teams and clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address creative challenges with innovative solutions that meet client goals while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge: Proficiency in various media, including social, print, digital, broadcast, and experiential advertising. Understanding of user experience (UX), graphic design, and brand strategy.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including account managers, strategists, and media planners.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • AI Proficiency: Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., generative image/video, ideation assistants, content optimization platforms) to accelerate concept development and production. Ability to guide the team in responsibly integrating AI into the creative workflow while maintaining originality and brand integrity.

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in an advertising agency or creative industry, with a proven track record of successful campaign development.
  • Experience in developing and executing both international and local award-winning campaigns on effectiveness and creative excellence across various media channels is a must (digital, print, broadcast, experiential, etc.).
  • Experience managing and leading creative teams in a fast-paced, competitive industry.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work across different media.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Advertising, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or Marketing.

Senior Art Director

Job Summary

As our Senior Art Director, you’ll be the artistic mastermind behind a wide range of creative campaigns. You’ll work closely with copywriters to translate your strategically sound concepts into stunning visuals that resonate with audiences. From crafting captivating videos to designing eye-catching key visuals and social media posts, including forming event executions and other collateral materials, you’ll have the opportunity to leave your mark on everything we do.   • Be a creative anchor and chameleon: Conceptualize and develop innovative ideas that capture the essence of a brand and engage target audiences.

  • Be a master of your craft: Possess a deep understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and the latest design trends and technical proficiencies (from mock-ups to production). You are the expert in generating a variety of best-in-class art directions in both static and moving visuals.
