Senior Art Director

Job Summary

As our Senior Art Director, you’ll be the artistic mastermind behind a wide range of creative campaigns. You’ll work closely with copywriters to translate your strategically sound concepts into stunning visuals that resonate with audiences. From crafting captivating videos to designing eye-catching key visuals and social media posts, including forming event executions and other collateral materials, you’ll have the opportunity to leave your mark on everything we do. In this role, you will report to Senior creative leads and be tasked to guide junior Art Directors on certain projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Be a creative anchor and chameleon: Conceptualize and develop innovative ideas that capture the essence of a brand and engage target audiences.
  • Lead the way: Inspire and guide your team to produce exceptional creative work.
  • Be a master of your craft: Possess a deep understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and the latest design trends and technical proficiencies (from mock-ups to production). You are the expert in generating a variety of best-in-class art directions in both static and moving visuals.
  • Collaborate with an open mind: Partner seamlessly with copywriters, other creatives, and planners to bring cross-functional projections to fruition.
  • Oversee it all: Manage the entire creative process, from ideation to execution, ensuring all projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Present/ Oversee the presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.

Required Skills/ Abilities

  • Has a keen eye for design details and is critical of creating impactful visuals for brands through exceptional layout, typography, and stylizations.
  • Is a true team player with the ability to motivate, inspire, and support the team for the collective output.
  • Is comfortable articulating their ideas in writing, and conversely communicating with internal groups as well as client stakeholders.

Experience and Education

  • Preferably has a well-rounded portfolio that reflects experiences in a variety of platforms/channels and a solid knowledge of software to manifest their ideas.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an Art Director.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

Art Director

Full Time | Ho Chi Minh City

Job Summary

The Art Director will work on a variety of projects and tasks involving both ideation as well as execution to bring those concepts to life. He/she will have the opportunity to produce engaging visuals from, but not limited to, TVCs, digital, print ads, social always-on content, packaging to collateral materials, and even supporting event materials. Reporting to Senior Creative Leads, the Art Director will form a strong partnership with copywriters to articulate their ideas, not just their art direction.

Supervisory Responsibility

As an Art Director guiding and supervising a team of 2-3 members (such as Interns, Designers), your role would involve a combination of leadership, mentorship, and hands-on design work. You’ll not only guide but also inspire and motivate team members to produce their best work, fostering a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Idea generation is a must.
  • Have an open mind, and constantly share progress with Creative Leads and/or Senior Writers early and often, which will ensure creative and copy delivery is on brief.
  • Possess up-to-date design techniques and know-how, in both static and moving visuals (such as animation/editing).
  • Have a strong understanding of art directions and visual hierarchy that reflects the desired mood and tone that goes beyond just the trendiness of a style.
  • Ideate and generate creative concepts that successfully express a brand’s proposition, and engage target audiences.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and offer innovative ideas.
  • Stays up to date with the latest industry technologies, trends, and award-winning work to learn and apply best-in-class standards on their creative ideas and output for our client work.
  • Be open to presenting on behalf of the team internally and externally.
  • To oversee and manage the time, preparation and quality control of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specification for final artwork.
  • Present/ Oversee the presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.

Required Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
  • Social savvy.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, and produce high-quality visual content.
  • Exceptional capability with typography, and layout.
  • Be able to critically communicate and persuade around design concepts.
  • Be able to present creative work internally and to clients fluently in Vietnamese and English.
  • Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop and Illustrator are a must), or other visual design/ video/ social works creating tools.
  • Have a solid knowledge of photography and video production, illustration, graphic motion, and social media.
  • Must understand design in multiple mediums – print, digital, mobile.

Senior Designer

Job Summary

As a Senior Designer, you carry a passion for design and conception. And you have a strong affinity with layout, typography, and a detailed eye for crafting just about anything. You will be adept at the latest techniques to produce both static designs and ideally motion-based tasks. If you’re into branding, this is a welcome plus too.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Art Director in working with the Account team to get a debrief of clients, visual objectives, and other requirements about key message and branding strategy (format and style, material supply, brand insights, guidelines, and targeted audiences) using design brief form.
  • Visual production which conveys the key message of brand mood and tones effective branding angles and strategy, such as Facebook posts, Facebook App Layout, Website Layout, Mobile App, GDN banner, etc.
  • Take part in brainstorming with the team to produce ideas/concepts based on the creative brief. Visualize ideas into an appealing presentation deck.
  • Other related tasks may be caused upon request.

Required Skills/ Abilities

  • Creative thinking and conceptual ability.
  • Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work under pressure.
  • Helpful, responsible, result-oriented, and integrity.
  • Knowledge of Sketch, After Effects, Video Editing, and UI/UX is a plus.
